So i've been watching Family guy for like 2 hours... and the whole time I've been thinking about something. If most of our entertainment today comes from nostalgia for the past, and referring back to that... how will we look back at these times in like 10 years? Like...'oh, remember that time that we remembered that time, that was sweet.' Anyways, food for thought.

So I got the Kama Sutra out today from the library (#19 on the list). I thought it would be interesting to read since I can't think of a single person I know who actually has read it. Of course, I managed to get the one copy that wanted to focus on the text itself, so there aren't any pictures (just my luck). It's pretty interesting though. It's not so much a 'how to' sex guide as it is a religious/spiritual text. If I actually finish it I'll check back with updates.

Last night, my little bro and I went to a foosball tournament at this pool hall near me. Essentially, semi-prefessional players (yes, there are semi-pro foosball players) get together with regulars like me. We all put our names into the proverbial hat, picked one out of each, and at the end each semi-pro is teamed up with a rookie. Then we played a tournament. It was something that I'd always wanted to do, as I don't really know anyone that can actually beat me at the game. I must say... HOLY SHIT... these dudes were diesel. It was the most insane foosball experience I've ever had. As a rookie, your only job is to try and stop the ball, and get it to the other guy.... which is alot easier than it sounds. These guys did things with a foosball that I didn't think were possible. It's kind of cool, not only for the experience but because I got to meet some very interesting people that I probably never would have otherwise. Definitely something I'm going to do regularly... Wednesday's around 9pm.
